WETZEL JR.

Charles Wetzel Jr. has become one of Northwest Ohio's most prominent and successful actors, with a career spanning numerous independent films, commercials and print, stage performances with The Untitled Improv Show, and a role as the Networking Coordinator for FilmToledo, Northwest Ohio's regional film commission. Over the last several years, Charles has been involved as both an organizer, judge and host of the CommUNITY Film Fest, showcasing films from filmmakers with developmental disabilities. Charles also works with Toledo Talent, hosting in-person acting and improv classes, and with Distracted, a live haunted attraction in Bowling Green, OH.

Charles previously studied at the Indy Actors Academy in Indianapolis, IN, and completed two terms at the world-famous Second City Training Center in Chicago, IL. Working with aspiring filmmakers at the Toledo School for the Arts and Bowling Green State University, Charles is instrumental in bringing education and experience to the regional film acting scene. Charles is currently represented by NexGen Talent.
